Qualifications in Managing Personal Finances have been designed to help learners develop effective finance and budgeting skills that will help them take control of their money, stay out of debt, begin to generate savings and reduce financial anxiety. They will provide learners with an opportunity to learn how to manage on a limited budget and gain skills in simple budget preparation.

Computerised Accounts course aims to meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in job roles such as accounting technicians, Accounts/Finance clerks, Private practice accountants. These qualifications allow learners to develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the accounting sector. The Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounts is aimed at learners seeking broad experience in using computerised accounts software and to enhance their competence, allowing them to use the application independently for routine activities. It is also aimed at those who want to enter employment in a computerised accounts environment.

Participants will gain knowledge on healthy eating, cooking on a budget, budget buys, meal planning, shopping lists and food labels. This will guide the participants to make healthier choices when shopping for their families, save money where possible and learn how to cook healthy balanced meals at home. Participants will gain the knowledge and awareness on why eating healthier is important for overall health and wellbeing and how it can help reduce the risk of many healthy related illnesses such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some cancers. Participants will receive a weekly take home recipe and ingredient pack.
Duration: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks - includes a practical cookery session

At both levels both learners will complete and approved assessment task, this assessment is internally marked and following Internal Quality Assured, certification will be claimed with External Quality Assurance being completed annually.
