Taxi Drivers

Our training covers all topic areas and prepares participants for the tests including Road Procedure and responsibilities & Eco safe driving & the environment, Traffic signs & signals, vulnerable road users & mechanical knowledge, Health & safety, legal responsibilities & safe loading of vehicle, Customer care, carriage of vulnerable passengers & passenger comfort & safety, Hazard Perception. The course also covers taxi driving lessons and prepare clients for the taxi driving test. We also assist clients with online processes to book both tests - DVA Taxi Theory Test & DVA Taxi Driving Test. We will also assist clients to complete Taxi Medicals by arranging a doctor when they cannot get their own doctor. We will also assist participants with application processes for the DVA TDL Application and their Enhanced Disclosure Certificate. We help people to complete the Online Set up and verification processes required for Taxi Licensing. We will work with participants to get placements in taxi offices to work as taxi drivers. We will also assist with arranging vehicle appointments where necessary. Our course takes people through the steps and brings them out the other end with a Taxi Drivers License (TDL) and the opportunity to begin a new career as a taxi driver. We have self-employment support services for all who need them to sustain their new employment. We also have DVA licensing support available for those who find online processes difficult.
