The CSR Health and Safety Training scheme is one-day safety awareness training and follow up skills assessment. The programme is aimed at all construction personnel including new entrants, to ensure that they have a basic knowledge of health and safety to comply with relevant legislation and make them aware of the inherent dangers on construction sites.

This course will teach you about the fire risks in work premises and what safety measures should be in place to control them. It explains everyone’s legal responsibilities, the common causes of fires, how to prevent them, what fire safety arrangements are necessary, and the importance of following emergency procedures. It is suitable for anyone at any level, no matter what industry you work in, from employees to managers and full-time to part-time staff.

This course is suitable for all employees who work in environments with hazardous substance, such as healthcare manufacturing cleaning transport and office environment. COSHH stands for 'Control of Substances Hazardous to Health'. COSHH is a set of regulations put in place to protect workers from ill health when working with specific substances and materials. This is a 5-day course with their DVA driving test on the 5th day. The 4 days training will include the following but this may be tailored slightly to meet the needs of the candidates.
